Brain Surgery
Brain surgery involves the delicate and precise manipulation of the brain tissue to treat various neurological conditions. This is performed by making an incision on the scalp and removing part of the skull to access the brain. Brain surgery involves many specialized instruments such as microscopes, navigation instruments and microdissection tools that allow us to manipulate the brain tissue while minimizing damage to surrounding tissues. The surgery may involve removing tumors or alleviating pressure from hemorrhages or trauma, or treating epilepsy. Post-operatively, patients are closely monitored for any signs of complications and undergo rehabilitation to regain lost functions.
