He is an experienced and professional doctor, also very kind. He diagnosed my problem very well and his advice was very helpful. I highly recommend him if you have any problem related to your spinal cord.

He treats you as an individual, He appreciates your input into the plan of care, He communicates effectively with the patient as well as their family. His office staff, MA's and RN Megan are skilled, professional and caring.

My wife fell through the attic and landed on the garage floor 10 foot below. Luckily Dr Elia was the trauma neurosurgeon on call. He did a fantastic job and she has recovered very well. He is great at communication and even better at spine repair. I would recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Elia examined me after I suffered years with spinal stenosis and nerve radiculopathy. Dr. Elia was straightforward, telling me that surgery was a 50-50 that I would receive any relief. He could have refused to perform the surgery, with the likelihood that it may not be successful.

My experience with Dr. Elia and his team was absolutely wonderful. I had chronic everyday pain in my neck and opted for disc replacement surgery instead of a fusion. I am 6 weeks post-op and am happy to report I am finally pain free for the first time in 7+ years. I would highly recommend Dr. Elia.
